The artwork is based on one of the many seals discovered in Mohen-jo-daro and Harappa - two ancient cities of Indus Valley Civilization, which existed during 2500 BC. Located in the Western part of India (now lies in Pakistan), the expertly constructed cities were a part of an advanced civilization that are recognized as the roots of Indian culture.The historic seal was made of a soft stone called steatite. The ancient Indus script has not been deciphered.
