September 22 and 23, 2018, Arvada, Colorado, USA

After months of preparation, "Ajanta and other Images of India" art show was held for two days as a part of the annual 'Arvada Art Studio Tour' at the Sorcar Art Gallery. Open to public, the event enjoyed a stupendous success. Attended by a stream of people, mostly from the city of Arvada and its neighborhood, the two days were super busy for the Sorcars - the host family.

The exterior sign, specially designed for the event, directed the visitors to the exhibit, through the West Gate of the Sorcar residence, straight to the Main Art Gallery at the walk-in lower level, facing the sparkling water of Hyatt lake.

Manick and his wife Shikha welcomed all guests and visitors. Upon their arrival at the art gallery, they were directed to the adjacent Projection Room, where a 10 minute laser show awaited them. This was a specially designed laser show of Manick that introduced the Ajanta caves and the wealth of ancient Indian art in there, to the American audience.

The effort was highly appreciated as this allowed visitors to be familiar with the subject prior to taking a tour of the art exhibition. Because of the continuous flow of visitors, the 10 minute laser show was displayed every 15 minutes, continuously, for the two days.
